Agreement
By accessing this website or purchasing counselling services from Anushka Kharbanda, trading as Insight to Light, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or purchase services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use these services independently. If you are under 18, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required. Insight to Light will not be liable for any harm arising from use of this website without appropriate parental consent.
Nature of services
The counselling and therapeutic services offered through this website are provided by Anushka Kharbanda, a qualified Counselling Psychologist holding an M.A. in Counselling Psychology from Amity University, Noida.
Services offered include integrative psychotherapy and counselling, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Matrix Reimprinting, clinical hypnotherapy, and expressive art therapy.
While Anushka Kharbanda is a trained and certified mental health professional, these services are not a substitute for emergency psychiatric care or medical treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your nearest hospital, local emergency services, or a crisis helpline immediately.
Booking and payment
Sessions can be booked through Calendly, at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.
Paid sessions are billed as described on the Services page. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
All payments are processed through Google Pay and are non-refundable unless explicitly stated.
Insight to Light will not be responsible or liable for any payment issues arising from transactions or declines, as these are handled directly by the payment gateway.
Fees may be revised periodically and will be communicated through formal channels.
Cancellation and rescheduling
At least 8 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 8 hours notice may be charged in full.
If you do not attend a scheduled paid session without prior notice, the session will be considered a no-show and the fee will be forfeited.
If Anushka Kharbanda needs to cancel or reschedule, you will be given as much notice as possible and offered an alternative time.
Refunds
Single sessions: Non-refundable once the session has taken place.
Packages: A pro-rated refund may be available for unused sessions if you wish to discontinue. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Digital resources: Refunds are not available once access has been granted.
Communication
For all administrative matters — including scheduling, cancellations, rescheduling, payment queries, and document sharing — please use email only:

WhatsApp may be used only for emergency communication or urgent safety-related concerns. Administrative requests sent via WhatsApp may not be responded to.
Responses may sometimes be delayed due to clinical work, scheduled sessions, weekends, public holidays, or planned leave. If you do not receive a response within 48 hours, please send a follow-up email.
Please note that Insight to Light does not provide 24/7 crisis support. In an emergency, contact your nearest hospital, emergency services, or a crisis helpline.
Termination of therapy
Participation in therapy is voluntary. You have the right to discontinue at any time. Wherever possible, a closing session is strongly recommended to ensure healthy closure and continuity of care.
Anushka Kharbanda may also pause, refer, or terminate services if clinically or ethically necessary. This may include situations where:
The current approach is no longer suitable for your needs.
Your needs fall outside the scope of services offered.
There is consistent failure to follow agreed therapy policies.
There are repeated late cancellations, missed sessions, or no-shows.
There is non-payment or repeated delay in payment.
There is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe conduct toward Anushka Kharbanda.
There is a conflict of interest or ethical reason that makes continuation inappropriate.
Where possible, termination will be discussed in advance with appropriate referrals provided. In cases involving safety concerns or serious misconduct, services may be terminated immediately.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed during sessions is confidential. Personal information and session content will not be shared with anyone without your explicit consent, except where legally required — for example, if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Prohibited conduct
You confirm that all information provided to Insight to Light is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
You agree to use respectful and courteous language in all interactions.
Any form of abusive, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, or harassing language or behaviour is strictly prohibited. Insight to Light reserves the right to refuse or terminate services immediately in such cases, without prejudice to any other legal remedies available.
You may not upload, distribute, or transmit any unlawful or harmful content through this website.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, design, and programme materials — is owned by Anushka Kharbanda and is protected by copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without prior written consent.
Materials provided as part of sessions or programmes (worksheets, guides, resources) are for your personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Counselling is a collaborative process and outcomes vary depending on individual circumstances and effort. No specific results are guaranteed.
This website and its services are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anushka Kharbanda and Insight to Light are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
